At 8.5% alcohol Duvel isn’t your average quaffing ale. Anyone quaffing this probably has a liver made of granite and a noggin filled with same.
I must admit to having a soft spot for American Pale Ales, with their citrus notes and pleasantly dominant hops, and Wingwalker fits the bill nicely. Not the best I’ve tasted but an enjoyable drop nonetheless.
To quote Zoolander, “water is the essence of wetness”. Obviously the beer makers at Lucky Drink Co are big fans of water. Unfortunately for this particular brew they appear to have forgotten to add the “beer”.
Nifty bottle though!
I really like the bottle. It looks Olde Worlde and a little bit like a medicine bottle. That’s about all I can say for this one; the beer was a struggle from start to finish.
